Melissa is a rising senior pursuing a B.S. in biochemistry. Spending much of her time focusing on research, Melissa hopes to continue her studies to obtain an MD/PhD. Although her passion lies within the field of science and medicine, she has made room in her heart to welcome the culture, romance and art of New Orleans.
